One of the managers at Circuit City got Matt free tickets for the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. the Colorado Rockies game tonight, so we went.
It was a pretty good game, but we lost. 5-3. There were a few very good plays that were fun to watch. I was really mad that they lost on the first game of theirs I've ever seen. I kept expecting to see the Philly Fanatic there, but they've got a Parrot instead. At least it was still green.
We didn't know it was a fireworks game, so that was a very nice surprise. It was way better than the crummy ones we saw on the 4th of July. I decided next year it doesn't matter how crazy it is downtown, we're going to see those fireworks instead.
I wanted to buy an eye patch, but they don't sell any. I think they should, that'd be fun to have as a game souvenir.
Gotta get up early tomorrow, Matt's got a doctor's appointment to get his toes fixed. Finally after I don't even want to think how long. At least he'll be able to go on the beach without shoes this time.
I can't wait for vacation.
